Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Project Risk & Commercial Manager to join our Architecture & Urbanism - Global Division. This role will ensure consistency in approach and operations across our global offices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project risk and commercial aspects, ensuring timely data collection, and providing reliable and accurate reporting. They will also develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance and governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project risk and commercial aspects, including risk processes and procedures, knowledge and training, data repository and reporting, compliance, and governance.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance and governance.
  • Provide reliable and accurate reporting, including risk register, risk contingency, mitigation costs, and reserves.
  • Interface with various stakeholders, including Business Unit Operations Director, Business Unit Global Excellence Centre Manager(s), Project Delivery And Performance Manager(s), Growth, Quality and Safety Leads, Global Business Area/Global Operations and Project Services Risk Manager, and Enterprise Risk Function.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master's degree and at least 10+ years of experience leading and growing a significant business function within a multinational engineering or professional services firm.
  • Excellent leadership capability, intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility and flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily-understood, authoritative, and actionable manner.
  • Time management and ability to multi-task with competing priorities.
  • Excellent decision-making capabilities and ability to make decisions and deal with conflicting priorities.
