Project Manager Opportunity

Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
  • Manage projects within the site owner's Project Management Framework.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project scope and secure project materials and resources.
  • Perform field visits to coordinate material and labor resources and ensure work is progressing safely and according to plan.
  • Monitor and forecast project budget and schedule to ensure plans are on track.
  • Identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Meet specific project KPIs as required.
  • Engage with relevant project stakeholders, including project reporting to management.
  • Perform Continuous Improvement of the Project Management Process.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of owner's representative industrial project management experience.
  • P.Eng designation.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant technical field.
  • PMP is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Efficient use of Microsoft 365 Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Experience with civil projects such as water pipelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and detail-oriented.
  • Previous experience in raw water intake and pipelines.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
