About the Role

The Facilities Support Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in designated areas to promote the safety, health, and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff. This role plays a crucial part in aiding patient recovery by ensuring a clean, welcoming, and safe environment while minimizing disruption to others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in assigned areas.
  • Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment when handling infectious materials.
  • Engage with various cleaning agents and disinfectants safely and effectively.

Qualifications

We invite candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or GED, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong verbal, reading, and writing communication skills.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus, with a preference for French.

Work Schedule

  • This is a Casual Relief position.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $20.02.
