Role Overview

This role supports our Leasing Consultants in the Central Region of our portfolio, seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and genuine individual with a flair for sales.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management
  1. Oversee the training and development of the leasing team, setting goals and monitoring performance on a monthly basis.
  2. Collaborate with the National Leasing Manager to create action plans addressing any areas of concern, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  3. Communicate strategies and objectives effectively to various stakeholders.
  4. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  5. Inspire and guide the leasing team to achieve optimal performance.
Marketing and Leasing Initiatives
  1. Encourage prospective residents to schedule site tours through calls and email inquiries.
  2. Evaluate potential residents to match them with the most suitable communities.
  3. Promote the unique advantages of the property to prospective residents, encouraging them to arrange appointments.
  4. Coordinate open houses in partnership with leasing consultants as needed.
  5. Maintain vacancy rates below established thresholds.
  6. Achieve and sustain monthly rental goals.
  7. Participate actively in weekly revenue management discussions.
  8. Assist leasing consultants in negotiating lease terms to maximize property value.
  9. Enhance community awareness through business-to-business outreach.
  10. Perform additional marketing-related duties as assigned.
Administrative Duties and Reporting
  1. Review and authorize all leases within the region.
  2. Compile and present reports on vacancies, leasing trends, and rent rolls.
  3. Distribute relevant leasing reports to stakeholders.
  4. Gather weekly leasing updates from consultants and share them with the leadership team.
  5. Provide a bi-weekly leasing schedule.
  6. Maintain the Availability Report and Daily Traffic Report.
  7. Perform other rental and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. A broker's license for transactional purposes is required.
  2. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  3. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
  4. Must be a self-starter with initiative, creativity, and adaptability.
  5. Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals while being culturally aware.
  6. Thorough understanding of competing properties and current market conditions is crucial.
  7. A valid driver's license is required.
  8. Availability to work Monday to Saturday during specified hours is necessary.
