About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Property Leasing Coordinator to join our team at UBC Properties Trust. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for promoting our portfolio and community, and assisting tenants with all tasks required to help smooth their transition to our neighbourhoods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to faculty and staff of UBC, responding promptly to phone enquiries and emails regarding potential tenancy questions.
  • Communicate with applicants regarding suite availability and ensure follow-up is completed to waitlist inquiries.
  • Update website regarding suite availability and post advertisements as needed.
  • Arrange vacant suite showings for potential tenants.
  • Coordinate with Housing Programs Coordinator to track applicant information and provide updates to the HRS Office.
  • Complete and review lease agreements, track lease end dates, and input accounting forms into Yardi.
  • Assist Property Administrators with parking and storage audits, and provide information to management for future development projects.
Requirements
  • A relevant diploma or degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the real estate or property management industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships.
  • Maturity and self-motivation, with the ability to allocate time effectively and manage tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Yardi Genesis is an asset.
