Position Overview

The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of computer networks and systems within the organization. This position requires a combination of technical expertise and customer service skills to effectively assist users with their technology-related challenges.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college diploma or a non-university certificate program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in IT support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate access to computer networks for users.
  • Monitor and report on the performance metrics of computer systems and networks.
  • Assist users encountering technical difficulties with their computers.
  • Research and implement solutions by consulting user manuals, technical documents, and other resources.
  • Provide guidance and training to users based on identified challenges.
  • Deliver support for business systems, networks, and internet-related issues.
  • Set up and configure equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and necessary software.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all users.
  • Manage and resolve incidents effectively.
