Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Expert to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and business development across various business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models related to revenue recognition, cost of producing revenue, and inventory valuation.
  • Manage the accounting for major business models applicable to the recognition of retail revenue, cost of producing revenues, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business unit leaders and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimal financial performance.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in a medium to large company.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and business development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CA, CMA, or equivalent).
