The salary range above reflects the local currency for this position and is an annualized amount. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as geographic location, market competition, and the successful applicant's qualifications and experience. Currently, we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Tier 3 System Administrator to enhance our IT team. This role is essential for delivering advanced support for our managed services, overseeing critical infrastructure including servers, networks, telecommunication systems, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Tier 3 support for Managed Services, addressing complex issues to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Administer and optimize infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and cloud environments (Azure and Office 365).
  • Plan and implement IT projects focused on system enhancements and migrations, particularly in cloud environments.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Servers, Hypervisors, and Failover Clusters.
  • Conduct proactive system maintenance, security assessments, audits, upgrades, and optimizations to uphold system integrity and security.
  • Design and enforce hardware and software policies, establishing secure practices and operational best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a platform roadmap and prioritize initiatives.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation.
  • Provide timely updates on incident statuses, upcoming changes, and service interruptions to clients.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a post-secondary program in IT or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in System and Network Administration roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and extensive knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong understanding of clustered and virtual storage solutions, as well as Hypervisor troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing physical Hypervisor hosts, Windows Physical servers, and ensuring server architecture security and backups.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking, including routers, switches, firewalls, LAN, WAN, VPN, and network security systems.
  • Familiarity with Intune, Defender, Exchange, and other Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and assist technicians of varying skill levels.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to interact efficiently with stakeholders.
