Job Summary

ETAC Service & Supply Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical generation and distribution networks, supervising technicians and engineers, and preparing technical reports and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design operations, and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
  • Supervise and lead teams of technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and other engineers
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, cost estimates, and design specifications
  • Design and develop electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment
  • Inspect and supervise the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures and develop solutions
  • Conduct simulations, characterization, process modeling, and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
Requirements
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Windows, and electronic mail
  • Experience in installation, maintenance, and inspection of equipment or facilities
  • Specialization in electrical engineering, electrical machines, or transformers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, team player, initiative, and flexibility
Working Conditions

Willing to travel and work in a variety of settings, including urban areas
