About the Role

Pascal le boulanger inc is seeking a skilled Pastry Maker to join our team in a fast-paced bakery environment. As a Pastry Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet goods, including pastries, cakes, and breads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Baking and Decorating: Bake mixed dough and batters, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, train staff, and draw up production schedules.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Baker Trade Certification.
  • Language: French.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
