Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Manoir Caledonia. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Teamwork: Operate machinery and work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our culinary goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
