We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our Facilities Department in a temporary full-time role as a Coordinator of Maintenance.

Position Overview

In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the District's building assets. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating with contractors and internal teams to execute various maintenance programs, encompassing heating, air conditioning, janitorial services, plumbing, electrical systems, and fire safety measures.
  • Conducting technical inspections of buildings and sites, responding to service requests and emergency situations, and addressing occupant concerns.
  • Performing repairs, cleaning, and maintenance tasks as necessary.
  • Collaborating with external contractors and internal departments to establish and uphold a preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and managing expenditures related to maintenance and repairs.

This role requires a high level of independent judgment and effective coordination of property maintenance activities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Extensive knowledge of building maintenance methods, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with the operations of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • The ability to identify potential issues and perform minor repairs on various building systems.
  • Experience with HVAC Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to prepare and maintain various reports and records.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to foster collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
