About the Role:

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a cleaner. This is a temporary opportunity to work for a reputable organization that provides essential services to our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and hauling waste streams to the loading bay
  • Collecting and disposing of trash in garbage, compost, and recycle containers on a regular basis
  • Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, doors, and windowsills
  • Cleaning washrooms, sanitizing, mopping, and restocking supplies
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the site supervisor or manager

Requirements:

  • A willingness to work and learn
  • The ability to obtain a background or security clearance
  • Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
  • Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
