Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals and families in our community.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with mental health and addiction issues, as well as providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat individuals with mental health and addiction issues
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Allied Health, Behavioral or Social Science field
  • 2 years of experience in a health setting working with complex care clients
  • Current valid BC driver's license
