Job Title: Halfway House Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Halfway House Worker to join our team at Native Counselling Services of Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide guidance, support, and advocacy to residents in a halfway house setting. This role requires a strong understanding of addiction, mental health, and community resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counselling sessions to residents
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with community agencies to provide support services
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor resident progress
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work, Counselling, or a related field
  • Experience working with individuals with addiction and mental health issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
