Job Title: Halfway House Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Halfway House Worker to join our team at Native Counselling Services of Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide guidance, support, and advocacy to residents in a halfway house setting. This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counselling sessions to residents
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor progress
  • Collaborate with other service providers to ensure comprehensive support
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team decision-making
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., social work, counselling, psychology)
  • Experience working with individuals with addiction and mental health issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
