Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Trainer to join our team. As a Safety Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training sessions on targeted topics, acting as an expert and partner for our customers, and planning and managing mandates in collaboration with consulting coordinators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training sessions on OHS matters, including theoretical and practical training.
  • Act as an expert and partner for our customers, providing guidance and support on OHS matters.
  • Plan and manage mandates in collaboration with consulting coordinators, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Responsible for field expertise in confined space risk analysis and lockout, including data sheet drafting and program development.
  • Participate in the evaluation of mandates with the business development team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of mandates, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in their field of expertise, staying current with industry developments and best practices.
  • Develop knowledge on various topics outside their area of expertise, expanding their skills and expertise to support the company's growth and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial relations or certificate in health and safety or equivalent experience.
  • Regular travel throughout the province of Quebec and availability to travel across Canada.
  • Knowledge of confined spaces and/or lockout, a definite asset.
  • Bilingualism, a definite asset.
  • Occasional need to work evenings and weekends.
