Parts Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Parts Consultant to join our team at Volvo of Unionville, a luxury dealership in the AWIN Group of Dealerships. As a Parts Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with their parts needs, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Ensure customers are aware of our entire product line and accessories.
  • Follow cash handling procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Verify parts against delivery notes and ensure correct binning and documentation.
  • Pack and load parts correctly, maintaining accurate dispatch documentation.
  • Report any stock damage or losses to the Parts Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date on new and improved products through training and education.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a retail auto parts department.
  • Proficiency in CDK and/or Reynolds and Reynolds software systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
