We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Specialist to join our team at Volkswagen Canada. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of physical security technologies, including access control, badging, security cameras, drones, and integration with future technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Point of contact with security system designers and integrators
  • Project management during installation
  • Ongoing support, implementation, and project management for physical security projects
  • Training and oversight of the site Badging Centre
  • Coordinate the installation, programming, coordination, and management of all physical security related systems and operations
  • Manage and supervise integrator(s) and engineering companies during the construction phase
  • Ensure adherence to security standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Technical Diploma in a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in security management, security operations, or security technology
  • Advanced knowledge of convergence between physical security systems, IT systems, and Fire Notification systems
  • Industry certification (ASIS or equivalent certification) required
