Job Description



In this role, you will be responsible for conducting proactive and reactive security patrols and responses to incidents at the London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria/University Campus.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct security patrols on assigned shifts, ensuring the safety and security of hospital property and patients;
  • Respond to coded emergencies in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Investigate routine incidents, prepare reports, and document findings;
  • Provide excellent customer service skills when interacting with individuals under stress or in need of medical assistance;
  • Be physically fit to stand and walk for extended periods while working on site.


Requirements:



  • A valid G or G2 Class Driver's Licence with 3 years of driving experience;
  • A clean driver's abstract with no more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years;
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification;
  • A valid Ontario Security Licence;
  • A working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act;
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, tact, and diplomacy.
