About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Electrician to join our team at AA Electrical Services Inc. as a key member of our installation and maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install underground wiring and cables, splice, join and connect wires, and design and construct low voltage multiphase services for single or multimeter installations.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits, and troubleshoot and isolate faults.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure that all electrical work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Renovation and Repair: Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures, and ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs.
  • Documentation and Communication: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications, and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: The role will involve working in a variety of environments, including residential and commercial properties, and may require working at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Physical Demands: The role will require handling heavy loads and working in physically demanding conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the electrical trade.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
