About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our team at High Homes Ltd. As a Siding Installer, you will be responsible for installing siding on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Layout and Installation Procedures

You will work with our team to determine the best layout and installation procedures for each project, ensuring that the siding is installed correctly and efficiently.

Measure and Mark Guidelines

You will measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring that the siding is installed accurately and to the correct specifications.

Prepare and Maintain Work Materials and Supplies

You will prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including loading and unloading trucks with supplies and equipment.

Utilize Hand and Power Tools

You will utilize hand and power tools to install siding, including erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.

Read and Interpret Blueprints, Maps, Drawings, and Specifications

You will read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure that the siding is installed correctly and to the correct specifications.

Ensure Safety Procedures are Followed

You will ensure that safety procedures are followed at all times, including wearing steel-toed safety boots and following basic security clearance protocols.

Requirements
  • Education

You will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

You will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Personal Suitability

You will be punctual, accurate, flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.

Working Conditions

You will work 40 hours per week in a permanent position that involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.

The language of work is English.
