About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our team at Perfect Siding & Roofing Ltd. as a key member of our installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install Exterior Prefabricated Products: Install siding and other exterior prefabricated products to ensure a watertight seal and a high-quality finish.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
  • Repair and Service Exterior Products: Repair and service exterior prefabricated products to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Determine Layout and Installation Procedures: Determine the layout and installation procedures for each project to ensure efficient and effective installation.
  • Measure and Mark Guidelines: Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations to ensure accurate placement of products.
  • Prepare and Maintain Work Materials: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.
  • Load and Unload Trucks: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Utilize Hand and Power Tools: Utilize hand and power tools to complete installation tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Erect and Install Scaffolding: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe and efficient installation.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Construction, renovation, and installation environments.
  • Language: English.
