About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our team at Perfect Siding & Roofing Ltd. as a key member of our installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install Exterior Prefabricated Products: Install siding, soffits, and fascia boards to ensure a watertight seal and a high-quality finish.
  • Read Blueprints and Specifications: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
  • Repair and Service Exterior Prefabricated Products: Repair and service existing siding, soffits, and fascia boards to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Determine Layout and Installation Procedures: Determine the most efficient layout and installation procedures to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Measure and Mark Guidelines: Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accurate placement and alignment of materials.
  • Prepare and Maintain Work Materials and Supplies: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including tools, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Load and Unload Trucks: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Utilize Hand and Power Tools: Utilize hand and power tools to perform installation tasks, including cutting, drilling, and fastening.
  • Erect and Install Scaffolding: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe and efficient access to work areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Construction, renovation, and installation.
  • Tasks: Install exterior prefabricated products, read blueprints and specifications, repair and service exterior prefabricated products, determine layout and installation procedures, measure and mark guidelines, prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, load and unload trucks, utilize hand and power tools, and erect and install scaffolding.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
