About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Verace Italian Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train junior cooks in kitchen procedures and food safety.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak periods.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
