Role Summary

We are looking for a bilingual Clinical Embryology Consultant who is enthusiastic about assisting clients throughout South America. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of IVF laboratory procedures and equipment, coupled with a passion for client engagement and a dynamic work environment. This position will report directly to the Head of Clinical Embryology and Scientific Operations, playing a pivotal role in enhancing our presence and competitive edge in the South American market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and nurturing the embryology relationship with clients to ensure effective and efficient onboarding of laboratory operations with our products. Key tasks include:
  • Assessing the client's laboratory configuration (equipment and culture types) and collecting relevant details and visuals.
  • Overseeing the installation and onboarding process, including the preparation of training materials.
  • Evaluating and addressing product image quality during client training sessions.
  • Reviewing clinic reports and ensuring quality assurance standards are met.
  • Providing ongoing technical support for product utilization.
  • Distributing current abstracts, publications, sample reports, and additional training resources to clinics.
  • Managing customer inquiries by answering, tracking, and escalating as necessary (related to laboratory, protocols, or reports).
  • Utilizing CRM and customer service ticketing systems to maintain client relationships and manage inquiries.
  • Assisting with month-end invoicing by offering insights on client product usage.
  • Creating new customer support materials as required.
  • Contributing to scientific literature reviews and participating in research discussions and thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is an advantage.
  • BSc (or MSc) in Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with microscopes, IVF laboratory equipment, and fundamental laboratory skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Embryologist or in a similar laboratory/health technology role.
  • A strong interest in IVF, women's health, and Femtech.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office 365, SharePoint, Outlook, CRM systems, Teams).
  • Experience with ZenDesk and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently.
  • Customer-focused with a friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work across various functions.
  • A quick learner with basic problem-solving capabilities.
  • Possess foundational knowledge in biology and clinical embryology.
