Our mission is to make a measurable lifelong impact on the mental health and well-being of children, youth, and their families.
Our Services
We offer a range of services, including social, emotional, and behavioral counselling, early childhood education, learning disabilities and mental health services, and family violence services. Our family and community counselling program welcomes youth up to 18 years old referred from other programs within the agency and externally referred children experiencing social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties from 0-6 years old.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Consultant to cover for a maternity leave contract, working a minimum of 21 hours per week. The successful candidate will supervise assigned clinicians in delivering quality, evidence-informed mental health treatment and take ownership of a caseload for children under 12 and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise assigned clinicians in delivering quality, evidence-informed mental health treatment.
- Take ownership of a caseload for children under 12 and their families.
- Work closely with select members of the Clinical Managers team to ensure overall coordination of the clinical service of the assigned staff.
- Ensure adherence to manuals and processes in place to provide exceptional, research-based clinical services to our clients.
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related clinical discipline from an accredited educational institution.
- Clinical experience in the children's mental health sector, working with children and youth, families, and groups.
- Ability to engage with children and parents of all ages and backgrounds with sensitivity, empathy, tact, and diplomacy.
