About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at SUSHI JET ASIAN CUISINE. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our management team and ensuring the effective implementation of our HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Consultation and Grievance Procedures

Administer and manage staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.

Staffing Requirements

Identify and analyze current and prospective staffing requirements to inform our recruitment and talent management strategies.

Employee Support

Provide confidential support and guidance to employees on a range of HR-related matters, including employee assistance and counseling.

Recruitment and Hiring

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and select top talent, and manage the hiring process from start to finish.

HR Policies and Procedures

Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Performance Management

Develop and implement performance management systems to support employee development and growth.

Employee Relations

Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.

HR Reporting and Analytics

Develop and maintain HR reports and analytics to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

Technical Skills

Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word, with experience in HR software and systems.

Security and Safety

Ability to obtain a criminal record check.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Personal Suitability

Team player with excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.
