Job Title: Director of Human Resources

We are seeking a seasoned HR leader to join our team at Nova Scotia Community College. As Director of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous growth.

About the Role

The Director of Human Resources will provide strategic leadership across all HR functions, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to attract, retain, and engage top talent. You will guide the College through transformational HR strategies, ensuring our workforce is agile, resilient, and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership across all HR functions, including Payroll & Benefits, Human Resource Consulting, Labour & Employee Relations, and Employee Health & Wellness.
  • Develop forward-thinking policies and programs to attract, retain, and engage top talent.
  • Guide the College through transformational HR strategies, ensuring our workforce is agile, resilient, and future-ready.
  • Oversee thorough and respectful investigation processes of internal workplace complaints and/or allegations of misconduct.
  • Manage sensitive issues, research, and performance measurement.
