Job Summary

SINGH AIR SYSTEM DESIGNER AND SERVICES is seeking a skilled Gas Technician to join our team. As a Gas Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas heating units and their components, as well as assisting emergency response workers in the investigation of gas fires and explosions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install gas heating units and their components, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Emergency Response: Assist emergency response workers in the investigation of gas fires and explosions, and attend to gas escape calls.
  • Service and Repair: Service and repair gas heating units and their components, and install and maintain meters and regulators and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter.
  • Client Support: Advise clients regarding standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems, and supervise other workers.
  • Technical Skills: Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required, test and adjust control mechanisms, and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, with good judgement and a positive attitude.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
