Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Laboratory & Monitoring Engineer to join our team at Volkswagen Group. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing effective supplier management processes, developing measurement systems, and ensuring the verification and calibration of inspection and measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supplier management processes to ensure high-quality materials and components are sourced from our North American material suppliers.
  • Design and implement measurement systems to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Verify and calibrate inspection and measurement equipment to ensure national and international traceability and certification.
  • Prepare measurement device usage and verification instructions to ensure compliance with quality management system requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of quality management system requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance, measurement technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in measurement equipment, verification/calibration methods, and MSA applications.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive quality management systems, FMEA, and SPC.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for domestic and international assignments.
