Position: Forensic Toxicology Department Manager

We are currently seeking a dedicated Forensic Toxicology Department Manager to oversee our Forensic Department and ensure operational excellence in our National Drug Testing and Contact Centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the SAMHSA certified laboratory, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategic and operational plans that align with Dynacare's mission and vision.
  • Formulate, implement, and assess a comprehensive business plan for the Forensic Department, focusing on quality, service, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead a skilled team, fostering collaboration and accountability to meet established performance metrics.
  • Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure the achievement of Multi-Channel Contact Centre KPIs and maintain a high-quality customer service standard.
  • Manage budgetary requirements and assess market opportunities to drive departmental success.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the Forensic Department.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain an up-to-date Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual.
  • Enhance the visibility of the Forensic Department within the industry and community.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a managerial role.
  • A University Degree in a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of Forensic Department processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficient in Telephony platforms and multi-channel Contact Centre systems.
  • Strong financial management skills and experience with CRM systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and manage change within the organization.
