Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Manager to lead our retail store operations at Narula's. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales, managing store expenses, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
  • Oversee food preparation and quality control to ensure adherence to brand standards.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to provide a safe working environment for staff and customers.

Customer Service

  • Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and resolving customer complaints or issues effectively.
  • Train staff on customer service best practices and ensure consistency in service delivery.
  • Solicit customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team of kitchen staff and front-of-house employees.
  • Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to employees.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee satisfaction.

Financial Management

  • Manage store expenses and labor costs to ensure profitability.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Execute marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement brand marketing strategies.
  • Actively engage with the local community to build brand awareness and generate customer loyalty.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a managerial role within the food service industry, preferably in a fast-casual restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and achieving financial targets.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
