Kitchen Manager

Wah G Wah Inc. is seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality food standards.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize kitchen operations.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, including food quality, service standards, and staff productivity.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure that food meets quality control standards.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as culinary arts principles.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity.
The Kitchen Supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high-quality food standards. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:The Kitchen Supervisor will work a regular schedule of 30 to 44 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
