About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier at Stricker Food Market. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain the Store: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, requires attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, reliable, and able to work in a team environment.
