Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Punjab Grocery and Convenience Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, cashiers, and grocery clerks and shelf stockers.
- Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Store Operations
- Assign sales staff to duties and ensure that the store is properly staffed at all times.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked.
- Authorize returns and exchanges of merchandise.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced retail environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
