About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled professional to take on the role of Property Claims Investigator at Chubb, a leading global insurance provider. This position is pivotal in ensuring that claims are handled with the utmost integrity and accuracy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of reported claims to ascertain coverage and the extent of damages incurred.
- Analyze property estimates and set precise reserves to manage financial exposure.
- Engage with various stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and negotiate fair settlements.
- Spot subrogation opportunities and oversee the costs associated with external vendors.
- Collaborate with the national Property Team while adhering to established best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of an AMF License in Personal Lines, with a commitment to obtain the AMF License in Commercial Lines.
- A university degree or equivalent education in insurance-related fields.
- Proficient communication skills in both English and French.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the property claims sector.
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry and relevant legal frameworks.
- Having a CIP designation would be considered an advantage.
