About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at Kinton Ramen Newmarket. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen and food service helpers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our kitchen is running efficiently.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and manage our inventory accordingly.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that our kitchen is staffed appropriately to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting
    • On-site customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Public transportation is available.
