Job Summary:The Executive Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and supervise a team of housekeeping staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Coordinate inspection of assigned areas to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate contract services to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
- Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Hire and dismiss staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
