Executive Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Dream Paradise Hospitality Ltd.
Job Summary:The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring that safety standards and departmental policies are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Coordinate inspections of assigned areas to identify and address any issues or concerns.
- Coordinate contract services to ensure that all areas of the hotel are properly maintained.
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and that all staff are trained and aware of their responsibilities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that staff are meeting expectations.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that all staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that all linens and uniforms are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, and that all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
- Hire and dismiss staff as necessary to ensure that the housekeeping team is properly staffed and trained.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities.
- Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Veterans.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for mature workers.
- Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week and English as the primary language of work.
