KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Electronics Service Specialist, your role will involve delivering expert diagnostics, repairs, and installation services for electronic systems. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Installation, commissioning, and refurbishment of electrical and electronic systems;
  • Programming of electronic devices including variable speed drives and PLCs;
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining AC/DC electronic drive systems at various locations;
  • Conducting mechanical and electrical assessments on production machinery to ensure adherence to quality standards;
  • Documenting any anomalies observed during testing or startup processes;
  • Ensuring compliance of equipment with relevant standards;
  • Participating in emergency service rotations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • DEC in Industrial Electronics or a related field;
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a technical service role;
  • Familiarity with electric motors, variable speed drives, and PLCs;
  • Proficient in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools;
  • Bilingual in French and English;
  • Competent in computer applications (MS Office and Internet);
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license;
  • Capability to lift and manage heavy equipment.

  • Self-sufficient and resourceful;
  • Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Standard workweek from Monday to Friday (40 hours), with potential for overtime;
  • On-call duties during evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.
