Electrical Technician

About the Role:
Ainsworth is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in the Montreal region. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our buildings and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical control diagrams, plans, and descriptive codes to determine the location of electrical equipment and ensure proper system functioning.
- Install, test, replace, and repair electrical cables, switchgear, conduits, control panels, communication cables, and other components.
- Perform electrical and electronic material testing and component verification to ensure continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install, and test circuit breakers, transformers, panelboards, regulators, and other electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical control systems and other related devices.
- Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instruments and related devices.
Requirements:
- Electrical Technician with a CCQ certification.
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Day and Evening shifts.
