Position Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Manager responsible for overseeing the performance, cost efficiency, and quality of designated direct material categories. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies and sourcing initiatives.
  • Conduct contract negotiations and manage vendor relationships to optimize value.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies during contract negotiations.
  • Drive annual cost savings through strategic sourcing and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain and enhance supplier relationships, addressing supply issues proactively.
  • Oversee standard cost assumptions and conduct price variance analysis in collaboration with the cost accounting team.
  • Support new product and market developments by collaborating with various functional areas.
  • Manage procurement data systems related to purchase orders and spend analysis.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for assigned categories within the Procure to Pay (P2P) process.

Reporting Structure

You will report to the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Lead and oversee a team of 1-2 Buyers.

Role Details

  • Manage procurement for multiple production facilities.
  • Support significant annual production volumes.
  • Oversee a diverse range of direct SKUs valued at approximately $40 million.
  • Engage in negotiations with senior vendor executives across various sales volumes.

Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain management, preferably in consumer packaged goods.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Experience with direct materials packaging, including raw materials and various packaging types.
  • Familiarity with the beverage and alcohol industry, along with ERP systems like Oracle.
  • Proven track record in category strategy development and successful cost-saving initiatives.
  • Excellent business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Passionate and driven with a commitment to continuous improvement.
