Procurement Manager Job Description

Aerosports Parks is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our purchasing and contracts department, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring that all purchases are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse departments across the organization
  • Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies
  • Evaluate daily operations and plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Plan and organize daily operations, review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy
  • Hire, train, direct and motivate staff, plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures
  • Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services, authorize the development of specifications for products or services, manage contracts, review and process claims against suppliers
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information, oversee the preparation of reports, advise senior management, lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts, organize and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, attention to detail, large workload
