Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Aliaxis. As a key member of our Direct Materials team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Procurement Process Optimization: Analyze and improve procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure maximum value and contribute to sourcing initiatives.
- Cost Savings and Process Improvements: Identify and recommend opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for business improvement.
- Education: Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Certifications: APICS, CPIM, CSCP, SCMAO – certifications are an asset.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Inventory Management, Purchasing, or related business experience.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of Kanban systems/VMI, plant operations, and MRP systems. Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office tools, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, and Macros.
