Position: SAP Project Manager

Contract Duration: Initial term of 8 months with possible extensions

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model requiring on-site presence a minimum of two days per week.

Project Overview: The appointed individual will oversee the delivery of defined services. The Project Manager should possess intermediate experience, ideally with at least five years of managing intricate enterprise-level initiatives across both public and private sectors. The Project Manager will collaborate with the Pillar Lead to implement standardized practices and industry-leading methodologies for project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in establishing comprehensive project management protocols, standards, and engagement rules across all Pillars, ensuring adherence.
  • Guarantee that project activities align with approved strategies.
  • Maintain project scope and timelines within sanctioned parameters.
  • Ensure the creation of all necessary management documentation (e.g., program plans, work plans, management reviews, change requests, and unresolved issues) and obtain approvals as required.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating them when necessary.
  • Ensure deliverables are generated, validated, and accepted per organizational benchmarks.
  • Facilitate communication and support the Pillars in applying established project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and assistance to team members as needed.
  • Act as an advocate for the project.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in managing complex projects or programs.
  • Expertise in designing intricate project frameworks: formulating project strategies, establishing governance, program planning, scheduling, and critical path oversight.
  • Familiarity with project delivery methodologies: experience in tailoring project delivery methods to suit the scale, scope, and complexity of the project.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects (preferably ERP solutions) in multifaceted, multi-stakeholder environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Experience with various cloud-based solutions (e.g., SAAS, PAAS).
  • Proven experience in leading and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP.
  • Prior involvement in organizational change management within the public sector.
  • Experience managing projects or programs in a public sector context.
