Project Overview: The chosen candidate will oversee the delivery of services as outlined. The SAP Project Manager should possess intermediate experience, ideally with a minimum of five years in managing intricate enterprise-level projects across both public and private sectors. This role involves collaboration with the Pillar Lead to implement standardized and leading industry practices for project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and uphold project management processes, standards, and engagement protocols across all Pillars, ensuring adherence.
- Execute project activities in alignment with established plans.
- Maintain project scope and timelines within approved parameters.
- Produce necessary management deliverables (e.g., program plans, work plans, management reviews, change requests, and issue tracking) and obtain approvals as required.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating when necessary.
- Ensure that deliverables meet organizational standards for approval and acceptance.
- Facilitate communication and support for the Pillars in implementing defined project management processes and frameworks.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and assistance to team members as needed.
- Act as an advocate for the project.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience in managing complex projects or programs.
- Expertise in architecting project frameworks: developing strategies, establishing governance, planning, scheduling, and managing critical paths.
- Experience in tailoring project delivery methodologies to suit the project's scope, scale, and complexity.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, preferably ERP solutions, in multifaceted stakeholder environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification is advantageous.
- Experience with various cloud-based solutions (e.g., SAAS, PAAS).
- Background in leading SAP project implementations and delivering business solutions.
- Prior involvement in organizational change management.
- Experience managing projects or programs within public sector organizations.
