Position Overview

The role of the Cleaning Supervisor at C & H CLEANING AND JANITORIAL LTD. involves overseeing the cleaning operations to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety across various facilities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a supervisory role

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and train cleaning personnel or arrange for their training
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff
  • Conduct inspections of sites or facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Process payments for specialized cleaning services
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed
Supervision

Responsible for overseeing a team of 5-10 cleaning personnel.

Support Initiatives
  • Newcomers and Refugees: Offers mentorship programs pairing newcomers and/or refugees with experienced staff
  • Youth Support: Provides tailored on-the-job training for youth
  • Indigenous Support: Delivers cultural competency and awareness training to foster an inclusive workplace for Indigenous employees
