Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Firearms Sales Outfitter to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on firearms and related products, ensuring a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest products, trends, and technologies in the outdoor industry, including firearms, scopes, and related accessories.
  • Assist customers in finding the perfect firearm or accessory to meet their needs, and provide recommendations based on their preferences and requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including dusting, vacuuming, and restocking merchandise as needed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • One or more years of experience in a sales or service environment, preferably in the outdoor industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • A valid Restricted and Non-Restricted Possession and Acquisition License is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
