Compensation: $89,469 to $111,834 per annum (inclusive of comprehensive benefits)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model, requiring on-site presence 1-2 days per week or as operationally necessary

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the strategic, financial, and operational planning for the organization. This includes managing reserves, evaluating financial performance against established targets, and coordinating both capital and operational budgets to ensure effective program measurement.

Accountable to the Director of the respective program, this position aids in the effective management of business operations, leveraging evidence-based financial principles to enhance service delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent and comprehensive analyses of major operational functions and new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare regular performance and financial management reports.
  • Draft highly complex and confidential reports at a corporate level.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual Current and Capital Budgets.
  • Compile the Operating and Capital Financial Triannual Performance Report and other necessary reports.
  • Review and improve regular capital and operating reports, including salary and benefit analyses.
  • Engage with senior staff on financial analysis and reporting matters.
  • Participate in departmental and corporate task forces to represent financial and business planning interests.
  • Support the development and customization of financial policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant University Degree.
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, ACCA).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an automated financial environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
